India’s growth relies on a well-educated and skilled workforce. Improving education is a critical area of investment. A shabby foundation in primary & secondary education can overturn the lives, careers and productivity of millions of its citizens. Already, a considerable proportion of the adult workforce in India is acutely under-equipped to be eligible for skilled and semi-skilled jobs. In order to build India as a creator of global standards, it is very important that every child reaps the benefits of quality education.
In 2019, Parijat Urja Chakra – 2 was established at Cuddalore to promote and catalyze universal education among underprivileged children particularly in rural/semi urban areas, create the process to embrace these children into mainstream in a sustained manner, strengthen their abilities to cope up with the formal education system, facilitate them to emerge as productive assets and set the foundation for nation building. The personality development aspect is being enhanced by the Anand Foundation. We have established a library as well as a sports to enhance confidence building, social skills, personal grooming, sports interest.
